ABOUT THE LOYAL-LIST
I love food and how it can force you to think in new ways. I don’t work in the food industry, however, I am a self-taught chef and writer who meets my Indian parent’s expectations by being a nine-to-five businesswoman. Because of my unique perspective, I always find myself using food as an analogy for answering difficult personal and professional questions.
If you’re like me, during the pandemic you found yourself taking inventory of the aspects of your life that give you joy. For me that meant assessing my community of restaurants, chefs, and recipes that have stood the test of time, and mean the most to me. I call this inventory the Loyal-List. I believe everyone has their own personal Loyal-List, and I hope that through this lens we can share new ideas and bring these lists together to create interesting dinner table (or Zoom happy hour) conversations!
I currently reside in NYC and Vermont, and am wearing a mask.
